Secret of the Ancients - Part II: Negotiations

Imperial date: 236 - 1110

The players decide to visit this artifact collectors museums to learn if there are anything there. They travel first to the technological museum to see the ancient artifacts displayed there. However, they learn nothing new fro,m this, but are puzzled by some of the exhibits.

Later the same evening they decide to visit the art museum just to cover the possibility that the collector may have decided to hide his artifact in full view. However, nothing is found there either. A bit dissapointd the characters decide to pay the collector a visit. They debate the options of how to visit him, however, decided to play it safe and ask for an appointment, which are promptly granted. Read the rest of this entry »

Secret of the Ancients - Part I: The Inheritance

We meet the characters again on Regina about 5 weeks after the last episode. Trow Backett gets information about that his uncle has passed away and left him some items. Trow hasn’t seen his uncle since before the FFW and Trow has just arrived on Regina when the news arrives.

Lost Patrol

After the FFW the group took up their Colonel’s offer to visit him on his farm on Emerald. After living several months in barracks doing mostly nothing other than  waiting for their release papers, this would probably offer something new experience for a while.

However, when they finally arrived on Emerald, which still had visible scars after the war, the bad news hit them. Colonel Charlois was missing the rumor said. Rather than just dillying around, the group rented an air/raft and sped out to the Charlois farm to get a fix on the rumor. Read the rest of this entry »

Preface

May 14th, 2008

As I write this, it is almost two weeks until the first session for this campaign to start. To confuse the matter somewhat the setting is classic Traveller post FFW. This site is made for the TNE setting. However, I plan to bring the players going from CT through Rebellion and Hard Times to end up in New Era.

The rules that is going to be used is TNE with all bells and whistles (or lack there of, houserules).

When the campaign starts, the characters has just mustered out from scout service, which they more or less was press ganged into when FFW started. Soon after they and their ship was put into a covert operation to inset a strike force into Jewell that may had falled into the Zhodani hands. The insertion went awry and the characters was shot down from low orbit.

Later their participated in some operations on Jewell until the war was over.
